Featured Band of the Week!

In honor of the fact that I am going to see them live today, this week's Featured Band is Falling in Reverse.  Even though Falling in Reverse is a relatively young band compared to some others, it has a pretty long history.  It begins in roughly 2005 (correct me if my dates are incorrect) when 2 best friends, Ronnie Radke and Max Green started a band called Escape the Fate.  Escape the Fate did pretty well for a while, until substance abuse and a brief stint in jail for Ronnie changed things.  After Ronnie was put in jail (for skipping parole, NOT drugs or murder as you might find on the internet), Escape the Fate replaced him with Craig Mabbit, (who at one point fronted Blessthefall).  This caused disruption among the bands as Ronnie felt betrayed by his one time friends. Clean and sober, Ronnie stared a new band called Falling in Reverse.  It's name litterally means getting back up again. Things were blown way out of proportion for a long time, mostly by the fans, but Ronnie and Craig, who on occasion would insult each other over twitter, are now friends and, get this, on tour together!  That's right, the show I'm going to see also has Escape the Fate on the ticket! Anyway, I'm sure most have already heard of Falling in Reverse (Escape the Fate will get their own post sometime) but for those that don't, check them out.  They are....different for the most part.

Their members include Ronnie Radke on vocals, Jacky Vincent on guitar and vocals, Derek Jones on guitar and vocals, Ryan Seaman on drums and Ron Ficarro on bass guitar.

Featured Band of the Week!!!

This week's Featured Band of the week is Farewell, My Love!!!  Many of you have probably already heard of them as they have been gaining in popularity rather fast, but this is for those of you who have missed out on this wonderful band!  The band consists of Ryan Howell on Vocals,  Röbby Creasey on Guitar/Piano, Chad Kowal on Drums/Vocals, Charlee Conley on Bass, and Logan Thayer on Guitar.  Ryan replaced Caleb Harbin as lead vocals in late 2012 when Caleb confirmed that he would no longer be able to perform with the band due to health issues. Check them out at the links below and fingers crossed that they'll play Warped his year!

Featured Band Announcemnt!

First off, I must apologize for the lack of videos for That Sunday Feeling, our Featured Band this week.  This week has been a crazy week and I just haven't had that much time to get to a computer.  I have the app but it won't do anything with videos unless they are already saved into a post so it is actually of little use to me.  That being said, That Sunday Feeling will finish out this week as well and I will announce a new band on Sunday.  Hopefully everything here will get back to normal soon and I'll get on a regular schedule.

Featured Band of the Week!

Hello and welcome to our weekly Featured Band post.  (Sorry it's late this time, still having the family issues and all.)

This week's Featured Band is That Sunday Feeling.  I am sorry to announce that this band has since broken up, but that doesn't mean they weren't any good.  The band consisted of Joe Atkinson as vocals, Jay Imlach on bass, Pete Coppin on drums, Dave Stephens on guitar and Andy Thomas on guitar/keyboards.  They were a rock band from Grantham, Lincolnshire, forming in February of 2010.  They went on to have 9 released and 1 unreleased original tracks, 5 official music videos and millions of combined youtube hits.  They even had 2 successful UK tours.  All in all, I'm sad to hear of the break-up of this band.  They were really good and, according to their website, the ages of the members when they started were between 16 and 18.  Check them out and tell me what you think!

One last Avion Roe video before I pick a new featured band.  New featured band may not come out until tomorrow.  I apologize for that but my mother has been in the hospital so I haven't had a whole lot of time to be on the search.  Hopefully that will get better soon as she is (hopefully) coming home tomorrow.  Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed them as much as I do.
