In honor of the fact that I am going to see them live today, this week's Featured Band is Falling in Reverse. Even though Falling in Reverse is a relatively young band compared to some others, it has a pretty long history. It begins in roughly 2005 (correct me if my dates are incorrect) when 2 best friends, Ronnie Radke and Max Green started a band called Escape the Fate. Escape the Fate did pretty well for a while, until substance abuse and a brief stint in jail for Ronnie changed things. After Ronnie was put in jail (for skipping parole, NOT drugs or murder as you might find on the internet), Escape the Fate replaced him with Craig Mabbit, (who at one point fronted Blessthefall). This caused disruption among the bands as Ronnie felt betrayed by his one time friends. Clean and sober, Ronnie stared a new band called Falling in Reverse. It's name litterally means getting back up again. Things were blown way out of proportion for a long time, mostly by the fans, but Ronnie and Craig, who on occasion would insult each other over twitter, are now friends and, get this, on tour together! That's right, the show I'm going to see also has Escape the Fate on the ticket! Anyway, I'm sure most have already heard of Falling in Reverse (Escape the Fate will get their own post sometime) but for those that don't, check them out. They are....different for the most part.
Their members include Ronnie Radke on vocals, Jacky Vincent on guitar and vocals, Derek Jones on guitar and vocals, Ryan Seaman on drums and Ron Ficarro on bass guitar.
